The R&D Unit of IUCS
Since the beginning of the CESPU project, research has been one of the institution's major objectives, allocating structures and human resources to carry out high quality research projects.
Oral Health is one of the most developed areas in the Institution and the significant accumulation of knowledge, researchers and the multidisciplinary contribution also of Biomedical Sciences integrated in the study of oral diseases and their rehabilitation, allowed the existence of areas and clinical and /or laboratory research lines framed in national and European indicators of excellence for research in this area. This accumulation of knowledge and skills led to the creation of the Oral Pathology and Rehabilitation Research Unit (UNIPRO).
This is a Research and Development Unit that currently includes a group of researchers with research projects in the most important areas of knowledge of Oral Pathology and Oral Rehabilitation, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment allowing high level research open to the entire scientific community, and also promotes transfer of knowledge and training of human resources endowed with a singular research capacity focused on understanding and solving problems related to oral diseases and their rehabilitation.
In this sense, UNIPRO aims to establish bridges of connection with the scientific, academic and society in general, where the acquisition, transfer of scientific knowledge and translational applicability are the manifestation of UNIPRO's major objectives.
Welcome to UNIPRO!
