Francoise Kleinsorgen

Françoise Kleinsorgen is a dentist with a solid background in clinical practice, academic teaching, and scientific research. She is currently a PhD student in Biomedical Sciences at the Instituto Universitário de Ciências da Saúde (IUCS), specializing in Implantology and Materials Engineering. She holds Specialist and Master’s degrees in Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation from the University of São Paulo (USP), as well as a Specialization in Periodontics and Gingival Plastic Surgery from the Brazilian Association of Dentistry. She has conducted two systematic reviews registered in PROSPERO: one focused on adhesion in hypomineralized teeth and the other on techniques for closing anterior diastemas. Both studies resulted in peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and academic recognition. She was awarded Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster at RAMDEC 2024, and her work has been published in journals such as Revista Salus. Currently, she serves as a clinical tutor in Conservative Dentistry 3 in the Integrated Master’s Program in Dental Medicine at IUCS and co-supervises master's dissertations at the same institution. She has also worked as a scientific consultant for AS Technology – Titanium Fix, contributing to the development of high-tech dental implant designs and representing the company as a speaker at several international congresses. Her main areas of interest include oral surgery, Dental implant surgery, Periodontal surgerybiomaterials, biomechanics applied to implantology, adhesion to compromised dental substrates, and the translation of scientific evidence into clinical excellence. She is an active member of the Portuguese Society of Implantology and Osseointegration and the Portuguese Society of Periodontology and Implants.
