Master’s in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Lusófona University (2014) and PhD in Veterinary Sciences from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (2022), with a research project on feline mammary carcinoma. After completing his curricular internship in 2014, he joined the clinical team at Onevet Hospital Veterinário do Porto, where he served as the resident veterinarian in the Oncology department from 2016 to 2019. He is currently responsible for the Oncology department at that hospital. In 2019, he also provided oncology consultations at OneVet Hospital Veterinário Berna in Lisbon. He has authored several national and international scientific publications in the field of Veterinary Oncology. In the academic sphere, he was an Assistant Professor at the Vasco da Gama University School in Coimbra (2021–2024), and he currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Integrated Master’s Program in Veterinary Medicine at the Instituto Universitário de Ciências da Saúde.
